It's been almost 2 years since the day I finished an exchange program at Hankuk University, Seoul. Time flies to 2018, I'll be graduated soon this October. Thus, my friends and I decided to pinpoint Korea as a destination for our Graduation trip. Luckily, this is a special occasion for me to return back to the place I've shared 4 months memories with, Seoul.

Admitted to the fact that when I was an exchange student, I missed many places recommended to visit including cafes, restaurants and museums. However, I would never regret because I've spend those days in a quirky places outside of Seoul. This time, I done a lots of research on places in order to catch up with today trends and what I've missed within the city.

ต้องสารภาพว่าตอนไป Exchange เราไปเที่ยวแต่ย่านเดิมๆ กินอาหารร้านเดิมๆ อยู่กับความเคยชิน กลายเป็นว่าคนที่มาโซลเพื่อเที่ยวโปรกว่าเราอีก เพราะเค้า Research มาแบบจัดเต็มให้พอดีวันเที่ยว

เราที่อยู่เป็นเดือนเลยมีรูปกลับไปอวดคนอื่นน้อยกว่าคนที่มาแค่อาทิตย์สองอาทิตย์ ครั้งนี้เลยขอโอกาสแก้มือ โดยทำการ Research แบบจัดเต็มในฐานะนักท่องเที่ยว Cafe ไหนที่เค้าว่าเด็ด กำลังฮิตเราก็ทำการ Marked แผนที่ไว้อย่างดิบดี

9 Days Trip / Graduation Trip

It's a 9 days trip so it's incompatible with the day I spend in Korea as a short-term resident where I didn't have to rush a schedule. The limit day convinced me to plan things ahead but, you all know, planning was not an easy step and follow the plan was much more difficult. Moreover, It quite challenging when our group shared different traveling styles. Photograph lover and non-lover.

สำหรับเราที่เคยไปอยู่ 9 วันคือไม่เพียงพอ แต่ก็นั้นแหละ ยังไงก็ต้องทำให้พอให้ได้

ตอนแพลนนี่อย่างยากเพราะสไตร์การเที่ยวของเพื่อนในกลุ่มมีความต่าง คนนึงบ้าถ่ายรูป อีกคนก็ไม่ถ่ายเลยจ้า

นั้นแหละ ก็เที่ยวแบบไม่ตามแพลน เพราะสุดท้ายเราก็ให้ความสำคัญกับ quality time มากกว่า quantity คือ ไปไม่ครบไม่เป็นไร ได้เที่ยวและใช้ชีวิตในแบบที่ทุกคนสุขใจก็พอ

Staying in Hongdae? - คิดไม่ออกว่าจะพักย่านไหนพักฮงแดซิ

Hongik subway station is accessible to AREX (Airport railway express), so you can get transferred to the airport within 45 min at a cost of ~4,000 won (all-stop train)
Many Shopping stores opened late, so you can shop until late night.
There is a particular food store that opened 24 hours, in case you feel for a heavy meal at night.
If you are a pub-goers, Hongdae is one of the areas best known for it. Plus, it's safer if you get drunk and your stay is closer by.
CGV movie theatre is here, so you not going to miss a movie.
Most popular cafes are located here. In addition to the stations next-to like Sinchon, Ewha, Hapjeong, and Mangwon.

Hongdae One Guesthouse

If you are looking for a convenient place to stay in Seoul that easily accessed by subway, Hongdae One was an excellent choice to consider. The cost per night for a person was only ~900 THB. However, the price may vary depends on seasons. You can check it out from Airbnb.

What you will get is an essential amenities like staying in a hotel with a towel, pocket wifi, clothe hanger and a free cup of Korean instant noodles filled your room every day. My room was on the 7th floor of LG Building that connected to the Hongik subway exit 8. You can be relieved because there was an elevator.

The surrounding stores included Folder, ABC Mart, Olive young and street food selling O-Deng and tokpoggi that opened for you until late night. Also, there were GS25 and Emart within the building at 1st floor.

ถึงจะเป็น Guesthouse แต่บริการดีมาก มีสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกครบ พูดได้ว่าเอาไปแต่ตัวกับเงินก็อยู่รอด
เราได้ห้องชั้น 7 สบายใจได้เพราะมีลิฟล์ จะกระเป๋าเยอะขนาดไหนก็ขึ้น Subway กลับสนามบินได้สบาย เพราะตัวตึกกับ Subway เชื่อมกัน
บริเวณโดยรอบไม่ต้องพูดถึง ทำเลตึกดีมาก ซ้าย ABC mart, folder /ขวา Olive young/ ข้างหน้า Subway /ข้างหลัง shopping street
แถมภายในตึกมี GS25 กับ Emart

First Time at K-Pub - อยู่เกาหลีมา 4 เดือน ไม่เคยเข้าผับ?

People always come to mesmerize when I mentioned that I've never visited a K-pub. OK! so my goal for this trip was to make a try once.

My first was at Aura, Hongdae. It's a Friday night and for no reason, women got a free entry. The DJ opened a mix of EDM, Korean and international song where I got to dance the night away. Although Korean pubs were renown for poppa touchy, here, my friends and I've not encountered any. In opposite to NB2 where my friend said it's ways too crowded and touchy.

เหมือนเป็นมนุษย์ประหลาดทุกครั้งเวลาที่ตอบคนอื่นว่าไม่เคยเข้าผับเกาหลีทั้งๆที่มา exchange 4 เดือน ทริปนี้เลยตั้งเป้าว่ายังไงก็จะลองเข้าให้ได้ มาจบลงที่ผับ Aura คืนวันศุกร์

วันนั้นโชคดีหรืออะไรไม่รู้ ผู้หญิงเข้าฟรี เหมือนเป็น Free Trial ไปในตัว มีคนบอกว่าผับเกา Touchy แต่จากที่ประสบพบเจอที่ Aura คือไม่โดน เอาเป็นว่ามันก็ไม่ได้น่ากลัวขนาดนั้น

Meet By Coincidence - การค้นพบโดยบังเอิญ

The most thankful situation during traveling time is when you discover 'the best' when you are not looking for it.

ความสุขใจอีกอย่างระหว่างการเดินทาง คือ การค้นพบโดยบังเอิญ เช่น สถานที่บางอย่างเราไม่ได้ research มา แต่กลับพบว่ามันดูดี ดึงดูดใจเสียมากกว่าสิ่งที่ Research มาเสียอีก

What happen when we could not find any opened restaurant when we're craving?

Strolling around Bukchon Hanok Village, we forgot to have lunch until time passed by to 3 PM and everyone started to notice that their stomachs were rumbling. Some might not know, walking in the village burned out so much energy than usual, due to the street heavy slope and mount.

It's like a nightmare because most of the restaurants close at 3 PM. The only shop seemed to open was Chicken Ginseng soup restaurant (Samgyetung) boasted by Michelin's star. The price was unavailable in front of the shop. So, We cut off the choice so fast as we predicted the flamboyant price.

Mount by mount seeking for opened restaurants, we decided to go back to the Michelin.

You know what? what hidden behind the Michelin made us feel worthy than ever. One bowl of soup causes only ₩15,000 or 450 THB baht. The ingredients of whole chicken filled with rice and ginseng. This was so cheap when talking about the taste and how it fulled our gut for a minute after!!!

Discovering the Aura radiance within you

Either pay for a cup of Van Gogh coffee art or one Polaroid of Aura Imaging, both of them cost 30,000 won each (900 THB). Which plan are you in?

For me, the second plan was more making sense when heard about its advantages, Aura Imaging. It's the first time I've heard about the methodology. The element deals with the infrared frequency within our body that invisible to human eyes but visible through the camera owned by a Korean man named Steve.

Steve said he was the only person in Korea to possess the camera, which he brought the copyright from America. From searching the internet, Aura imaging existed. The color radiate, called Aura, can tell a very accurate personality type of the person. Some got a very blur and not filled aura and it is a problem because it affects the degree of the person success.

The advantage I got out of the image is the ability to strengthen my aura and excel in my career and life path. For instance, which colors and scent will boost my energy and which country is suitable for me to stay.
